Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 29, 2026

Welcome to TRACEBOX. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and TRACEBOX ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the TRACEBOX website, testing environments, API endpoints, and associated services (collectively, the "Service"). By requesting access, joining our whitelist, subscribing to or obtaining access to any of our plans (including Researcher, Team, or Enterprise tiers), or using the Service, you automatically, unconditionally, and instantly agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms in full.

1. Beta Phase & Whitelist Access Policy

The Service is currently in an early-stage evaluation phase (Beta). We limit access to pre-selected researchers, teams, and enterprises through a managed whitelist. You acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding this phase:

  • Invitation Only: Submission of your email to the whitelist does not guarantee access. Invitations are extended at our sole discretion.
  • Unilateral Revocation: We reserve the absolute right to suspend, terminate, restrict, or revoke your access to the Service, the whitelist, or your account at any time, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice, explanation, or liability.
  • Discretionary Restrictions: TRACEBOX reserves the right to impose usage limits, disable specific analysis features, block specific domains, or modify the user interface dynamically to maintain server stability or perform critical maintenance.

2. Product Credits & Model Access Policy

To maintain system equilibrium and distribute computing resources fairly among beta testers, certain features are subject to specific limits, denoted by asterisks (*) throughout our pricing structures and documentation:

  • Access* to Premium Models (including "limited*" and "Access*"): Access to proprietary, fine-tuned, or high-performance language and reasoning models is subject to structural constraints and resource availability. TRACEBOX reserves the right to dynamically rate-limit, throttle, queue, or swap out premium models at any time based on computational load.
  • Unlimited* Limits (including "Unlimited* credits", "Unlimited* workspace access"): The term "Unlimited" is defined strictly under our Fair Use Policy. This is not an open license for abusive computational consumption.

3. Detailed Fair Use Policy (FUP)

Our Fair Use Policy ensures that no single user degrades the experience of others by monopolizing hardware resources. Under this policy, the following activities are strictly prohibited and constitute a violation of these Terms:

  • Using automated scripts, bots, or tools to send rapid, repetitive, or continuous API requests outside of standard human-interaction thresholds.
  • Attempting prompt injection testing, adversarial model attacks, or fuzzing payloads designed specifically to crash, stress, or disrupt our processing backends.
  • Multi-tenant sharing of individual accounts (e.g., sharing a single "Researcher" or "Team" user profile across multiple unassociated researchers or companies).
  • Utilizing the output of TRACEBOX analysis to train competitive machine learning models, build derivative security services, or resell automated reports.

TRACEBOX monitors system usage patterns continuously. If we detect consumption levels that deviate significantly from standard professional usage, we reserve the right to immediately throttle your bandwidth, deduct credits, or permanently ban your account without warning or refund.

4. Data Collection, Privacy & Cookies

By utilizing the Service, you acknowledge and consent to our data collection and cookies usage policies:

  • Session & Security Cookies: We utilize essential cookies to authenticate your identity, prevent cross-site request forgery, track rate limits, and maintain secure session states. These cookies are loaded automatically and cannot be opted out of.
  • Analytical Tracking: We collect non-identifiable telemetry, page view paths, scroll behavior, and browser characteristics to optimize site speed and layout.
  • Analysis Material Processing: When you upload binaries, packages, container configurations, or plugins to the Service, they are processed on our secure analysis servers. While we do not sell your code or data, these materials are analyzed dynamically to generate structural maps, dependency trees, and security candidates.
  • Chat & Prompt Telemetry: To improve our proprietary artificial intelligence models, analysis pipelines, and general usability, we reserve the right to collect, store, and process all user chats, prompts, queries, and internal metadata generated during your usage of the platform. This data is used strictly for internal development and service improvement. We guarantee and covenant never to sell, rent, lease, or transfer your chats, prompts, or proprietary analysis data to third-party advertisers or external third parties.

5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary permissions and legal rights to analyze any files, binaries, or containers you submit to the Service. You are strictly prohibited from using the Service to:

  • Analyze malware, spyware, or stolen software unless you are a certified researcher operating within an authorized, sandboxed testing environment.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or steal the proprietary code of the TRACEBOX platform itself.
  • Upload any files that violate intellectual property rights, non-disclosure agreements, or privacy laws.

6. Absolute Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. BECAUSE THE PLATFORM IS IN A BETA PHASE, TRACEBOX MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, CORRECTNESS, COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, OR CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE. SYSTEM REPORTS MAY CONTAIN FALSE POSITIVES OR FALSE NEGATIVES. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRACEBOX, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR ITS ASSOCIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, SECURITY BREACHES, WORK STOPPAGES, OR SYSTEM INSTABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Changes to Terms & Termination

We reserve the right to update, alter, or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice or any obligation to proactively notify users. It is your sole responsibility to check this page periodically for updates. The date of the last revision will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes your automatic acceptance of the revised Terms. We reserve the absolute right to block your IP address, deactivate your account, or erase your whitelist data at our sole discretion, without notice, explanation, or liability.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of our operating jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
